I recently spent the day near Baltimore painting a mural for a very progressive mortgage company. The owner wanted a graffiti/street art theme that would inspire the staff. So I painted by hand both sides of a 24-foot-long wall (about eight feet tall) in a little less than six hours. I used a combination of words and images that we discussed in advance, otherwise the composition was completely freeform. At one point the owner was throwing out some ideas that I was painting in real time. And while I didn’t get to play the Nintendo, it was a great place to work. I can see why this indie is on the short list of fast becoming one of the best workplaces in Baltimore.
