Icons, my solo art exhibition, was a success on many levels. Not only did I install more than 500 works, paint a temporary mural and create a mixed media wallpaper of words and image, I had the chance to meet so many amazing people.

According to the gallery, it was the bestselling exhibition in its history. I couldn’t be more proud of being able to celebrate the diversity of LGBT culture. I drew each of these Pop Art-inspired pieces by hand over the course of about nine months.

Ultimately, I would like to create a similar installation in New York City.
