A parent shared this photo with me recently – it’s her daughter’s desk where she is hard at work coloring the screen print I created for the AIA Bookstore in Philadelphia. The budding artist also has an original illustration of mine nearby – a piece I drew for her of a classic Converse All Star high top.

I love it when kids get excited about art. And as you can see, her own work – a beautiful butterfly – is pretty amazing.
