I’m creating new portraits of celebrities based on vintage magazines. Using the original covers as inspiration, I’m changing select words and images with my signature ICONS style featuring black, white and gold. I’ve recreated other tabloids as more simplified black and white illustrations, but this new series has been inspired by my ongoing series on punk rock. Each original piece is hand-drawn and painted on acid-free paper, signed and framed.
