I’m working on a series of scenes inspired by street art that are mostly based on images I’ve collected over the years. What I love about chronicling graffiti is that it changes so quickly – the same art I may have come across yesterday may already be altered or even erased today. This is especially true for some of the older scenes that are now long gone – it’s a very temporary category that I’m compelled to somehow capture within any given moment.

I’m creating these original illustrations by hand on acid-free paper with touches of oil paint color.
