I installed an 18-panel art piece at SimpleTire‘s new headquarters in the Philadelphia region. The company wanted me to create a mural that would essentially be portable. To do this I painted 18 canvases by hand (each measuring 30 x 30 inches) and assembled them to fit the space. The piece ultimately needed to exemplify the company’s corporate culture with some nods to brands, while having some fun with pop cultural points of interest related to travel, tires and e-commerce. The owners, who are art collectors, really gave me the freedom to run with this visual narrative. I really wanted to express the history of the company while still maintaining a fresh style inspired by street art.
