COLLAB

Photographer Bobby Grossman invited me to collaborate on his iconic cereal box series of Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. Bobby is a renowned photographer who helped chronicle the art and music scene on the 1970s and 80s in New York City. He’s also collaborated with one of my favorite artists Shepard Fairey.

It’s been an honor getting to know him and work with him on this exciting project which combines his beautiful Pop Art portraiture with my graffiti-style writing. I delved deep into both artists’ music and fame to help create these new portraits.

There are 20 of these works on paper currently being sold (10 of Lou and 10 of Iggy, including just 2 pieces I drew on the flip side, the negative black side of the prints). Each piece is an original.
