I’ve begun collecting pieces of wood of all sizes, shapes and depths to great word art using hot pink and silver pieces, all of which are built with different parts. I like the idea of being able to convey messages in bits and pieces without always finishing the words, and yet they are still recognizable. I’m interested in the blank space as much as the painted parts.

Some of the messages are inspired by lyrics, pop culture and poetry.
