I’ve been on the search for wooden slats, sticks and panels that I can use to create a new series of hand-painted lyrics on reclaimed wood. These two are FAME and VOGUE with more to come. I like the folkiness they convey with nods to street and outsider art. I paint these freehand, using the movement of the music to dictate the style and start and end points.
